Privacy Policy

The short version

ArrowsGame (arrowsgame.cc) has no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics. We do not set cookies. We do not ask you for your name, email address, or anything else in order to play. Your game progress is written to your own browser and is never sent to us. The only third party your browser contacts while playing is Google Fonts, and that is explained in full below.

What is stored on your device

The game keeps your progress and preferences in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is readable only by arrowsgame.cc, and is never transmitted anywhere. As of the date above the complete list is:

ag_main_route_idx — the level number you have reached in Main Route.
ag_bests — your best completion time for each board you have finished.
ag_daily — your daily streak and the date of your last Daily board.
ag_game_mode — which mode you were last playing.
ag_settings — display mode, line width, sound, and hint preferences.

None of these contain personal information. Because they live on one device in one browser, your progress will not follow you to another computer or phone, and clearing your browser data will erase it permanently. We cannot restore it, because we never had a copy.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of any kind — not for advertising, not for analytics, and not for functionality. You will not see a cookie consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to. Local storage, which the game does use, is a separate browser feature and is described in the section above.

Analytics and advertising

There are none. The site loads no analytics service, no advertising network, no tag manager, no session recording, no heatmaps, and no social media tracking pixels. We do not know how many people visit, which pages they read, or how far they get in the game, beyond what our host records for operational reasons as described below.

If this ever changes — for example if advertising is introduced to cover hosting costs — this page will be updated before the change goes live, and the "last updated" date at the top will reflect it.

Web hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare records basic technical information about requests it serves — including IP address, browser and operating system identifiers, the URL requested, and the time of the request. This happens at the infrastructure level for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. It is not something we configure, query, or use to build a profile of you. Cloudflare's handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policy.

Google Fonts

Pages load two typefaces from Google's font service, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. As with any request to another server, this discloses your IP address and browser details to Google. No cookie is set by these requests and no identifier is passed from us.

This is the only third-party request the site makes. If you would rather avoid it entirely, blocking those two domains in your browser or extension of choice will cause the site to fall back to your system fonts; the game itself will work normally.

Custom levels and share links

The Level Creator encodes a board you design directly into a web address. Nothing is uploaded and we do not store your creations — the entire board travels inside the link itself. That also means that if you post such a link publicly, anyone holding it can open your board, and we have no way to withdraw it on your behalf.

The Share button uses your browser's built-in sharing or clipboard features. Whatever you do with the copied address after that happens outside this site.

If you email us

The Contact page offers an email address. If you write to us, we receive whatever you choose to put in the message, and we keep it only for as long as it takes to deal with your question. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, and there is no mailing list to be added to.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included — largely because we do not collect personal information at all. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no way for a player to submit personal details through the site.

Your choices

Because nothing about you is held on our side, there is no account to close and no data export to request. To erase everything the site has ever stored, clear site data for arrowsgame.cc in your browser settings, or use a private browsing window so that nothing is written in the first place. Either way the game remains fully playable — you simply start again from level one.

Changes to this policy

If how the site handles data changes, this page will be revised and the date at the top updated. Material changes — the introduction of advertising, analytics, or accounts — will be described here in plain terms rather than buried in a broader rewrite.
